Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Shakti Uttarakhand’s President Surender Dutt Sharma and Vice President Rajkumar Chhabra bowed down at Shri Darbar Sahib on Friday. Both of them had a formal meeting Sajjada Gaddi Nashin of Shri Darbar Sahib Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj and took the divine blessings of him. They congratulated Shri Maharaj Ji over the successful completion of Shri Jhande Ji Mela. Surender Dutt Sharma informed that Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Shakti Uttarakhand will be honouring Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj in the upcoming Virat Kisan Mahotsav to be organized in May. Very soon the Agriculture faculties of Shri Guru Ram Rai University will be organizing a Kisan Mela for the farmers and also an awareness campaign will be done.
On Friday, the State President and Vice President of Kisan Union reached Shri Darbar Sahib. They were welcomed as per the tradition of Shri Darbar Sahib. Surender Dutt Sharma gifted a photograph of Shri Maharaj Ji to Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. He, on behalf of farmers associated with Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Shakti Uttarakhand, congratulated Shri Darbar Sahib Management Committee over the organizing of Shri Jhande Ji Mela in flying colours.
They expressed concern over Matawala Baag issue and condemned the anti-social elements. They said that Shri Darbar Sahib is one of the world’s greatest institutions. Millions of devotees have unwavering faith over Shri Darbar Sahib. Surender Dutt Sharma said that he is in favour of Shri Drabar Sahib. He said that his family resides near Saharanpur Chowk. Since childhood they have been watching Matawala Baag. Some people had made Matawala Baag a garbage dumping ground. They used to throw their houses’ garbage at Matawala Baag. Matawala Baag had become a drug edicts den which now has been made beautiful and attractive by Shri Maharaj Ji by planting fruit bearing trees.
He said that a worth worshipping institution like Shri Darbar Sahib is progressing ahead taking with it people of all the classesof the society. He said that this institution’s several schools, hospital, medical college, nursing college, paramedical college and Shri Guru Ram Rai University are working in social welfare. The work of Cancer hospital for the poor is its final stage. Its so unfortunate that a conspiracy is being done against such a great institution.
The agriculture faculties of Shri Guru Ram Rai University is proving a boon for the farmers of Uttarakhand state. The agriculture faculties of the university are conducting researches in the disciplines of traditional and ultramodern techniques of agriculture. Along with this, in order to promote organic farming, the farmers are being trained and awareness campaigns being organized for farmers’ income, fertility of land, etc. Significant works are being performed to increase farmers’ income by combining cattle with agriculture’s ancient form and by conserving gaumatas.
Over this occasion, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj said
that its necessary to promote farmers and farming in Uttarakhand state.
He said that due to this necessity, young agriculture scientists must come forward and ensure their roles.
On the other hand, President, Dehradun Bar Association, Manmohan Kandwal has condemned religious hatred being spread with the motive of capturing the land of Matawala Baag. He expressed his full support to Shri Darbar Sahib and said that he stands with the world’s leading social service institution.
