Uttarakhand's Cabinet Minister for Urban Development and Environment, Ram Singh Kaida, paid obeisance at Shri Darbar Sahib on Monday and prayed for the prosperity, well-being, and welfare of the people of the state. On the occasion, he paid a courtesy visit to Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, the Sajjada Gaddi Nashin of Darbar Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, and sought his blessings. In keeping with the traditions of Shri Darbar Sahib, the Minister was accorded a warm and respectful welcome.
Speaking on the occasion, Cabinet Minister Ram Singh Kaida said that Shri Darbar Sahib is a unique centre of spiritual peace, faith, and positive energy, where one experiences inner tranquillity and renewed inspiration. He praised the remarkable contributions of Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital in the fields of education, healthcare, and social service. He stated that the people of the Kumaon region should also benefit extensively from the exemplary services of these institutions.
The Minister suggested that the SGRR Group should take the initiative to establish educational and healthcare institutions in the Kumaon region so that quality education and advanced medical facilities become easily accessible to the youth and the general public closer to their homes. He further assured that if Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital expands its healthcare services to Kumaon, the State Government would extend full cooperation and all necessary assistance at every level to ensure the availability of modern and quality healthcare facilities for the people of the region.
On the occasion, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj said that, carrying forward the rich tradition of service, education, and human welfare established by Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, the SGRR Group remains committed to delivering quality education, advanced healthcare services, and social welfare initiatives to every section of society. He emphasized that the institution's primary objective is not merely institutional expansion but reaching the last person in society with the values of service, compassion, and moral responsibility. He expressed confidence that, with public support, the trust of society, and the blessings of the Almighty, the SGRR Group will continue to set new benchmarks in service in the years to come.
During the meeting, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj also briefed the Cabinet Minister in detail about the various achievements and public welfare initiatives undertaken by Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, and the SGRR Group in the fields of education, healthcare, and community service.
